Job SummaryBlack Cube Security is seeking professional, dependable Armed Security Guards for weekday assignments in Fresno. You will help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property through a visible security presence, careful observation, and professional incident response.
The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Available Shifts- Morning:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. - Afternoon:
Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM.
These are two separate shift options, each totaling 20 scheduled hours per week. Please indicate your preferred shift when applying.
What We Provide- Consistent weekday scheduling.
- Payroll payments every two weeks.
- Company-provided uniform, including a polo shirt, uniform pants, and a security badge.
- Patrol the assigned premises and maintain a visible, professional security presence.
- Monitor entrances and exits and verify access authorization.
- Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns.
- Address unauthorized access using professional communication and de-escalation, following site procedures and applicable laws.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and contact emergency services when necessary.
- Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports.
- Follow company policies, site instructions, and applicable firearms safety requirements.
- Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and authorized personnel.
- Current California BSIS Security Guard Registration, commonly known as a Guard Card.
- Current BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit associated with your security guard registration, with qualifications appropriate for the firearm carried on duty.
- Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism.
- Ability to follow security procedures and work without direct supervision.
- Dependable attendance and availability for the selected weekday shift.
- Previous armed security or related security experience.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and access control procedures.
