Absolute Lock and Security in Newhall, CA, is searching for a commercial Sub-Contractor Locksmith Technician to work in Fresno, CA. This is a contract position requiring locksmith-related skills, low-voltage electrical work, problem-solving, and basic carpentry. The pay rate is $85,000 per year.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide locksmith services for commercial locations.
- Recommend industry best practices for locking devices and hardware installations.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and components.
- Install, repair, and re-key cylinders; evaluate and repair door locks; perform maintenance promptly.
- Current State Locksmith documentation (if required) and proficiency in locksmith services including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Ability to re-key and repair desks and file cabinets.
- Ability to cut keys by code.
- Experience with commercial panic/exit hardware.
- Low voltage work experience preferred.
- Experience with door closers.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive efficiently to job sites.
