Quantum Scape developed the industry’s first anode-less cell design, which delivers high energy density while lowering material costs and simplifying manufacturing. Our innovative battery cell technology can store energy more efficiently and reliably than today’s lithium-ion batteries.

• Work closely with internal and external hardware partners in development of new tools and data pipelines
• Update APIs to facilitate access to new data sources.
• Work closely with diverse teams to brainstorm new quality metrics and implement them manufacturing process.
• Keep up to date with internal code-writing, documentation, and quality assurance practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with 5-10 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in Python and its scientific computing libraries (Num Py, Pandas, Sci Py, etc.).
• Proven experience in using both SQL and noSQL databases.
• Proven track record of applying solid design practices and building robust software solutions.
• Strong background in software documentation and version control.
• Enjoy working in a multifaceted, fast-paced, and technically challenging environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
• Passionate about the Quantum Scape mission.

• Experience with data processing in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with image processing and Python image processing libraries (OpenCV, Scikit-image, etc.).
• Prior exposure to deep learning concepts.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range for this role is $147,300-$191,480, but a salary will be determined by the candidate's experience and educational background. Quantum Scape also offers an annual bonus and a generous RSU/Equity package as part of its compensation plan. In addition, we do offer a tremendous benefits plan including employee paid health care, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and other exciting perks.
