The Commercial Driver will pick up and drop off automotive parts while adhering to assigned routes and schedules. The role requires thorough order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and a commitment to safety.

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, correct charges, and customer satisfaction.
• Follow dispatcher directions, adhere to routes, use navigation apps, and deliver packages on time.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles at customers’ places of business.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints professionally.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports that include invoices, return forms, reconcile debt and credit, and collect all moneys related to deliveries.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and notify the manager of any issues.
• Assist in any store and warehouse duties (stock, parts pulling, etc.) as assigned.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current valid CDL - Class C
• Must be able to meet company insurance requirements and be 21 years old or over.
• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and prolonged sitting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to manage, track, and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
• Ability to utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/ signature capture.
• Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.
• Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed preferred.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
