About the RoleThe Truck Unloader will be responsible for unloading product off trucks, handling items with hands and arms, following safety procedures, arranging or storing items, and attaching identifying labels or inbound cases.
Compensation & ScheduleHourly, Full‑Time, Non‑Exempt. Monday – Friday (6:00 AM – 2:45 PM).
What You Will Do- Handle loads carefully following lifting safety rules
- Inspect trucks before beginning operations to ensure they are clean and safe
- Work as a team to maintain minimum cases per hour productivity requirements with a sense of urgency
- Operate and inspect warehouse equipment (Stock Chaser, Pallet Jack, etc.)
- Resolve inventory discrepancies through research and physical counts
- Act professionally and remain focused while working
- Cross‑train in multiple areas such as putaway, puller, and packer
- Safely operate all warehouse equipment
- Follow directions of leadership
- Perform cleaning activities as required
- Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by management
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery
- Must be comfortable using electronic devices
- Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs on occasion
- Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
- Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information
- Must be flexible with start and departure times
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Responsible for additional duties assigned
Must wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps, and safety vest). PPE is company‑provided with a $100 stipend on safety‑toe shoes after 90 days of employment.
Physical DemandsJob involves standing and walking up to 4+ hours per day, operating a stock chaser and moving throughout the warehouse, moderate hand‑eye coordination, near and far vision, and hearing.
Working Environment- Performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool
- Near warehouse machines and equipment with moderate noise levels
