The Institute of Federalism (IFF) is a nationally and internationally recognised centre of excellence for multilevel governance, democracy, the rule of law, and human rights.
The main duties of project managers include:- Lead international consultancy projects
- Lead training and capacity building activities
- Manage and coordinate activities, including financial planning and reporting.
- Support and further develop outreach and communication activities.
- Help consolidate and expand the IRCC network across the globe.
- Support the IRCC research agenda.
- Administrative responsibility for international projects, including financial planning and reporting.
- Administrative responsibility for organising and running training programs, study tours and conferences.
- Responsibility for public relations and communications.
- Involvement in the planning, coordination and implementation of the IRCC’s activities.
The required profile includes:
- PhD in Law, Political Science, Economy, or a related discipline.
- Research experience in the IRCC’s areas of focus, particularly in the field of comparative federalism
- Relevant experience in international consultancy, training and capacity building.
- Substantial experience in international project management.
- Considerable research and research-fundraising experience.
- Willingness to travel within Europe and worldwide.
- Excellent command of English, and very good knowledge of German or French.
The required profile includes:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication studies, economics, international relations or a related discipline, or a commercial or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in the administrative management of international projects.
- Proven experience in public relations and communications.
- Excellent command of English, and very good knowledge of German and French.
- Ability to work as part of a team and flexibility.
