Business Analyst

Our client, headquartered in Fribourg, is actively searching for an experienced Business Analyst with prior experience in Enterprise Architecture.

Our client’s IT projects are managed from the operations center in Fribourg, Switzerland. In a context of digital transformation and business process optimization, we are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with a strategic vision in enterprise architecture and project management to strengthen our team.

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be the key interface between business teams (industry, finance, HR, purchasing, sales, inventory management, etc.) and our IT department. Your role will be to align business needs with technological solutions, while contributing to enterprise architecture modeling and the strategic planning of IT projects.

Main responsibilities include:

• Process Mapping:
  Identify, analyze, and model existing and future business processes, using tools such as BPMN or Archi Mate
  , to ensure their alignment with the company's overall strategy.
• Strategic Alignment:
  Collaborate with stakeholders to define an IT roadmap consistent with business objectives and the group's technological challenges.
• Optimizing workflows:
  Propose structural improvements to streamline information flows between different systems (ERP, CRM, business tools) and teams.

• Project management:
  Ensure the complete management of IT projects (planning, milestone tracking, risk management, reporting) using Agile or V-model methodologies, as needed.
• Cross-functional coordination:
  Facilitate communication between business teams, developers, technical architects, and external service providers to guarantee on-time and on-budget delivery of solutions.
• Data governance:
  Participate in defining data governance rules, in collaboration with the finance and technical teams, to ensure data integrity and traceability.

• Benchmarking:
  Monitor market trends (tools, methodologies, regulations) to propose relevant innovations.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Identify opportunities for automating or digitizing business processes, in collaboration with IT and business teams.
• Functional Specifications:
  Write detailed specifications and technical requirements documents for development teams, incorporating business, legal, and technical constraints.
• User Experience Design:
  Contribute to the design of intuitive user interfaces (UI/UX), in collaboration with designers and business teams.
• Systems Integration:
  Oversee the integration of solutions into the existing IT ecosystem, ensuring their interoperability and scalability.

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
  Design and execute user test scenarios to validate the solutions' compliance with business requirements.
• Training and Adoption:
  Organize training sessions and support users in adopting new tools, measuring their satisfaction and adoption rate.
• Post-Deployment Support:
  Provide proactive follow-up after production launch to identify areas for improvement and resolve any issues.

Education:

Higher education in computer science, project management, enterprise architecture (university, EPFL, HES, or equivalent).

Experience:

Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst, with proven experience in IT project management and enterprise architecture modeling.

Certifications:

A plus (not mandatory): PMP, PRINCE2, TOGAF, ITIL, or Agile certifications (Scrum, SAFe).

Languages:

French:
Native level speaker, English: B2+/C1 level a must

Tools:
Proficient in modeling tools (UML, BPMN, Archi Mate), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics), and collaborative suites (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint).

Project Management:
Experienced
