Position: PhD Student at the Section of Medicine, Chair of Pharmacology

Vos missions This is a one-year fixed-term contract which may be extended to 3 years (funded by SNF)
  • Bring ideas to the research topic
  • Establish or improve various experimental techniques
  • Conduct laboratory research using pharmacological, molecular and biochemical tools
  • Organize and analyze data, write publications
  • Collaborate with a network of investigators internally and externally
  • Publish and present findings in international meetings and journals
  • Supervise MA students contributing to the research (part-time)
Profil souhaité
  • Highly motivated and curious individual with strong interest in pharmacology, cell signaling, and cellular metabolism
  • MSc in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular or Cell Biology, or related field
  • Practical experience in cell culture, molecular biology, biochemistry and gasotransmitters (experience working with mice is an advantage)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary international team
  • Good written and spoken English skills
