Software Team Lead – Freiburg area – Up to €90,000 + Bonus (d / m / w)
Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the FE & Testing organization responsible for the user interfaces of advanced industrial vision sensors
• Contribute hands-on where appropriate, including architectural input, code reviews, and early-stage prototyping, depending on where your technical proficiencies lie
• Optimize development workflows to shorten release cycles, improve efficiency, and reduce overall delivery costs
• Uphold high standards for test coverage and overall software quality across frontend systems
• Define and execute architectural and technology solutions to ensure cutting-edge frontend features
• Serve as the central technical point of contact between internal technical teams within the R&D department
• Additional responsibilities coordinating with QA, Dev Ops, and external teams
• Define and maintain the frontend and testing vision

• Obtained a technical degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or similar
• 5+ years’ experience working as a Software Engineer, with a focus on Embedded Systems, C++, and Qt
• 3+ years’ experience in a Team Lead/Software Manager role
• Experience/knowledge in UI testing (Pytest, Selenium, etc.) and corresponding test strategies
• Knowledge in FE SW architecture and integration (APIs, etc.)
• Some knowledge of Dev Ops and CI/CD is beneficial
• Ideally, domain experience within the Sensor industry
• Fluency in German and English
