Aboutthe Role
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will support and optimize ERP systems while developing strategies for data management and reporting to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency. The BSA will take responsibility for maintaining, enhancing, and automating reports to deliver timely insights for business decision‑making.
Responsibilities- ERP and System Support: Act as a primary point of contact for ERP system issues, enhancements, and integrations; analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system updates and improvements; support data and reporting strategies, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business processes.
- Reporting Data and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and define KPIs and metrics; maintain, enhance, and automate reports; validate data and ensure accuracy across ERP, Access databases, and other reporting platforms; provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decision‑making.
- Project Support and Strategy: Lead system optimization projects and ERP‑related initiatives; partner with cross‑functional teams to define best practices and governance for data and reporting; mentor and support team members in technical and analytical tasks.
- Operational Support: Assist in troubleshooting system issues and implementing minor system updates; support data cleansing, validation, and reporting tasks as assigned; learn and develop technical and analytical skills under guidance of senior team members; perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- 1–3 years of experience in ERP support, reporting, or business analysis.
- Experience managing ERP systems or participating in their implementation.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Work onsite at an appropriate location (Fridley, MN; Paris, France; or Newhaven, UK).
