Assistant Manager (Assistant Manager 13091)

Responsibilities
  • Develop Servant Leaders – puts your people and restaurant first, not yourself.

  • Administration – maintains the balance between providing a high‑quality employee and guest experience, and achieving financial goals.
  • Welcome new team members and provide them with the training needed to do their job.
  • Lead inspiring team huddles that motivate and inform the team.
  • Ensure team members receive ongoing training and coaching.
  • Builds the capability of the shift supervisors and prepares them for their next level.
  • Consistently thanks the team and celebrates success.
  • Actively coach brand service behaviors – train, observe, provide feedback and celebrate.
  • Monitor Speed of Service to ensure delivery of guest expectations.
  • Ensure the restaurant is welcoming and clean.
  • Ensure product quality and operations standards are consistently delivered.
  • Partner with the Restaurant General Manager and team to create action plans to improve guest metrics.
  • Review sales and scheduling to ensure QSC (Quality, Service, Cleanliness) will be met.
  • Ensure accuracy of daily numbers, cash handling and HACCP logs.
  • Review inventory efficiencies to create product orders.
  • Evaluate and implement cost controls.
  • Monitor people charts and production planning and make necessary adjustments.
  • Create and monitor schedules and manage new team members onboarding process.
  • Implement action plans to address employee needs and operational assessments.
Requirements
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years supervisory experience.
  • Excellent guest service skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to resolve issues in compliance with Burger King standards.
  • Ability to keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts, and make hard decisions.
  • Available to work all shifts; open, close, weekends and holidays.
