• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares (e.g., cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality decisions with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains operational excellence, keeps the work area clean and compliant with company policies; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products; executes basics at the highest possible level of quality; shows energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using company policies; applying these in executing business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; completes tasks; communicates progress and information; identifies improvement opportunities and adapts to changes and feedback.
