This position is based in Fridley, Minnesota and follows an onsite work model, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. No travel is required for this role.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will lead software verification and quality engineering activities for web, mobile, and cloud-connected applications. You will partner with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, build scalable automation solutions, strengthen product quality, and support compliant software development throughout the product lifecycle.
** Primary Responsibilities
*** Lead the design, development, and execution of automated software verification solutions across web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
* Define test strategies, verification plans, release criteria, and risk-based testing approaches aligned with product and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and maintain reusable test frameworks, automation assets, and test infrastructure to improve quality and efficiency.
* Translate business, system, and software requirements into traceable test designs, test cases, and objective verification evidence.
* Validate end-to-end application behavior, including user interfaces, APIs, databases, microservices, and integrated workflows.
* Integrate automated testing into Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and establish quality gates for software releases.
* Investigate complex defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions across software and test environments.
* Mentor engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, tools, standards, and processes.
** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of software development, software test engineering, or quality engineering experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years of software development, software test engineering, or quality engineering experience OR Ph.D. with 0+ years of experience required
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience developing and executing automated software tests for production applications.
* Experience creating software verification artifacts, including test plans, test cases, test protocols, and test reports.
* Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, APIs, or distributed systems.
* Experience using source control, defect tracking, and CI/CD tools

Experience developing automated test solutions using Java, JavaScript, or Kotlin.
* Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, JUnit, or TestNG.
* Experience validating microservices, REST APIs, asynchronous workflows, event-driven architectures, and relational databases.
* Experience with cloud platforms, containerized environments, and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops.
* Experience in regulated software development environments, including risk-based testing, requirements traceability, and audit-ready documentation.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
