• 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday.
• Holiday shifts on rotation.

• Prepare or assist in the preparation of complete meals – soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, desserts, salads, baked goods, etc.
• Comply with all special dietary needs or restrictions of residents.
• Create gravies, sauces, and menu items from scratch.
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before serving.
• Monitor all food items for compliance with guidelines for temperature, taste, and quality.
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment; ensure equipment is cleaned and turned off before closing.
• Assist in inventory management to minimize waste.

• Minimum 6 months experience as a prep cook (preferred).
• Effective communication with residents and colleagues.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Willingness to undergo a routine background check.
