Location: Mytchett

The Finance Administrator supports the whole team with daily administrative and accounting tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working with numbers in a fast-paced environment.

Your future role
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Raise and issue invoices; follow up on outstanding payments
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry
  • Process expense claims, stock control and raise purchase orders
  • Prepare and file documents and records
  • Support month-end processes under supervision
  • Respond to internal and external business-related queries by managing incoming calls, emails, plus incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to support operational delivery
  • Support job administration, scheduling and coordination where required, including preparing documents, reports and correspondence
  • Liaise with local Water Companies.
  • Meet and greet visitors
Required skills
  • Previous experience in finance or accounts administration role
  • Accounting or finance studies (preferred but not essential)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.
  • Strong Organisational Skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with team members, clients and suppliers.
  • Ability to follow processes and instructions accurately
