Join a market‑leading team shaping the future of commercial aircraft modification. You will support the client’s expanding Boeing EASA modification activities, working on complex and innovative aircraft programmes and delivering certification solutions for airline customers worldwide.
Responsibilities- Report to the Electrical/Avionics Engineering Manager and collaborate with the global engineering services team across multiple time‑zones to identify requirements and associated solutions for active and upcoming projects.
- Lead and contribute to design activities to ensure compliance with design requirements, and address certification and integration issues relating to electrical/avionic equipment and systems changes as part of large aircraft modifications.
- Lead certification activities, including on‑wing test witnessing, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Compile and check engineering documentation and instructions for continued airworthiness, including wiring diagrams, wire routing installation drawings, harness fabrication drawings, service bulletins/accomplishment instructions, aircraft and component manual ICA supplements (wiring diagram manuals, system schematic manuals, EWIS assessments).
- Compile and check certification documents to demonstrate compliance with relevant electrical systems airworthiness requirements, including electrical load analysis documents, test plans and reports, compliance statements, system safety, equipment qualification, EWIS documents, and certification programmes.
- Represent the team during customer meetings such as ITCM, PDR, CDR and FAI in support of active and upcoming projects.
- Provide on‑site support to assist customers during the embodiment phase of the project.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Avionics or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.
- Previous experience as an EASA Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) is advantageous.
- Current or recent employment within the aerospace industry specifically working with an EASA Part 21J Design Organization (or equivalent) – essential.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements, including (E)
TSO, CS‑25, JAR‑25 and FAR‑25 (relevant to the electrical/avionics discipline). - Knowledge and experience of aircraft interior and/or avionic modifications.
- Experience with large and complex aircraft modification projects (or similar scope projects within the aviation industry).
- Current or recent appointment as an EASA CVE with terms of approval relevant to the electrical, avionics and/or software disciplines is advantageous.
- High level of attention to detail and professional integrity.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively work on multiple programmes with varying requirements.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and show flexibility to changing situations/demands.

Honesty, Integrity and Transparency. - Willingness and ability to develop, mentor and coach less experienced staff.
- Experience navigating OEM data systems for specifications and standards.
