Hourly Rate: £63-£68 per hour
Working hours:
Hybrid (3 days onsite, flexible)
I am currently supporting a leading aerospace engineering programme seeking an experienced Mechanical Stress Engineer to support aircraft interior modification and certification activities. This contract role suits someone with strong aviation structures/stress experience, particularly within aircraft interiors and EASA certification environments.
Key experience sought- Aircraft structures/stress engineering background
- Strong knowledge of EASA CS-25 / FAR 25
- Aircraft interior modifications experience (seating, monuments, galleys, lavatories, PSUs, etc.)
- Structural substantiation and certification documentation
- FEA and hand calculations
- Experience with in a Part 21J Design Organisation highly desirable
The role involves delivering certification-ready substantiation packages for aircraft modifications while working closely with global engineering teams.
Immediate start preferred (July 2026). No clearance required (UK Right to Work only).
