I am currently supporting a leading aerospace engineering programme seeking an experienced Mechanical Stress Engineer to support aircraft interior modification and certification activities. This contract role suits someone with strong aviation structures/stress experience, particularly within aircraft interiors and EASA certification environments.

• Aircraft structures/stress engineering background
• Strong knowledge of EASA CS-25 / FAR 25
• Aircraft interior modifications experience (seating, monuments, galleys, lavatories, PSUs, etc.)
• Structural substantiation and certification documentation
• FEA and hand calculations
• Experience with in a Part 21J Design Organisation highly desirable

The role involves delivering certification-ready substantiation packages for aircraft modifications while working closely with global engineering teams.

Immediate start preferred (July 2026). No clearance required (UK Right to Work only).
