Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary FM Transformation and Development Control Plan Director to lead the delivery of a major transformation programme across the Estates and Facilities Directorate, aligning with the Trust’s Development Control Plan and the national Wave 1 New Hospital Programme (NHP). This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Director of Estates and Facilities, with responsibility for delivering complex, high‑value transformation across both Hard FM and Soft FM services, utilising industry best practice, innovation and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Have budget management responsibility for Transformation and the Development Control Plan and be accountable to Director of Estates and Facilities.
  • Provide management and leadership as well as leading on the development of transformation strategies and policies for the directorate.
  • Accountable for the procurement of the services of professional teams to facilitate all aspects of the Transformation and the Development Control Plan and meet the Trust’s SFI’s.
  • Work closely with internal colleagues, stakeholders and external partners to ensure that all Hard and Soft FM implications are considered, as part of any transformation or capital works.
  • Provide excellent delivery that supports corporate developments.
  • Develop and manage the Development Control Plan and have budget forecast responsibility.
