Project Manager - R&D

Overview

Redline has been retained by a leading process instrumentation manufacturer who are looking for a Project Manager - R&D to join their R&D team based in Camberley.

Due to significant growth, they are seeking a Project Manager to take ownership of complex, non-standard projects. You ll lead programmes from initial customer engagement through to first delivery, ensuring every stage of the NPI process is executed with precision. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), product development or project delivery who is looking for greater ownership, increased responsibility and career progression.

The nature of the industry and products will require someone who is a British Citizen.

• Lead programmes from initial customer engagement through to first delivery, ensuring each stage of the NPI process is executed with precision.
• Take ownership of complex, non-standard projects within the R&D environment.
• Ensure products move from concept/design into manufacture without issues.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Sales, Procurement, Operations and Finance to keep projects on track.
• Maintain structured planning, governance and clear communication to manage project progress and risks.

• Experience in NPI, product development or project delivery environments.
• Experience delivering complex products from concept to release.
• Experience in Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
• Ability to spot risks early, think critically, and act before issues escalate.
