Location:

Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.

Salary: £70,000

Job Description:

The Business Analysis Manager leads the delivery of business requirements and change activity across the Digital Business Value Stream, supporting areas including Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Legal and Project Management. The role is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of complex programmes and projects, while leading a Business Analysis team that supports successful delivery across the business.

Core duties:

Mobilises the necessary resources and personally undertakes the scoping, planning, development, delivery, and assessment of specified information and communications systems services

Manage and support a team of Business Analysts, helping to drive effective delivery across the wider portfolio

Apply and develop business analysis methods, tools and techniques across both agile and plan-driven delivery environments

Support estimating, planning and budgeting activities while helping to monitor and improve service performance across the portfolio

Support the development and growth of teams through ongoing guidance and capability building

Essential

Skills:

Relevant qualification or equivalent experience such as BCS BA Diploma, HNC, Prince2 Foundation or a Computer Science degree

Experience delivering within a large or complex organisation

Experience working in a Business Analysis environment

Experience leading and supporting teams
