We are seeking a Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to become part of our friendly and supportive leadership team. Working alongside the Matron for Neonatal Services, Senior Sister, and fellow Junior Sisters, you will play a key role in providing visible leadership, supporting staff development, and helping to maintain the highest standards of neonatal care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to further develop your leadership skills within a progressive and compassionate neonatal service, while making a meaningful difference to the lives of babies and their families every day.

- Co-ordinate and manage the unit in the absence of Senior Sister.
- Act as a resource in Neonatal nursing care.
- Provide quality care for the babies and their families.
- Teach and develop more junior staff.
- Deliver highly specialised Neonatal care, which includes intensive and high dependency care.
- To provide specialist knowledge to ensure a practical and safe working environment and make appropriate changes.
- Act as a resource for nursing and medical staff to ensure appropriate Neonatal nursing care.
- The ability to provide nursing care for all neonates whatever their needs without direct supervision.
- To ensure complete and safe record keeping complying with Neonatal, Trust Policies and national guidance.
- To facilitate early discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team.
