Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Confidential Client | Frisco, TX $60,000–$80,000 + Bonus 100% Onsite General Ledger | Month-End Close | Account Reconciliation | Journal Entries | Quick Books Online Delta Dallas is partnering with a growing financial services firm in Frisco to identify a Staff Accountant who wants more ownership than a traditional corporate accounting role can offer. This is a hands-on position supporting multiple clients and industries, with exposure to the full accounting cycle and direct interaction with clients.

The right person will be comfortable getting into the details, taking ownership of their work, and communicating confidently with both the internal team and clients. What You’ll Do Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned clients Handle month-end close, journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations Prepare and maintain accurate GAAP-basis financial statements Assist with cash flow reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis Manage AP/AR-related accounting questions and client requests Maintain accurate books and supporting documentation Support audit and other accounting-related requests Communicate directly with clients regarding their day-to-day accounting needs Help identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues Work closely with the Partners and broader accounting team as client needs evolve What We’re Looking For 1–3+ years of hands-on accounting experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP

Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and prepaids Quick Books Online and Excel experience required Construction accounting experience, particularly WIP / percentage-of-completion accounting, is a strong plus Comfortable working directly with clients and explaining accounting information clearly Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Stable work history and a genuine interest in building a long-term accounting career Why This Opportunity This is a great opportunity for an accountant who wants to move beyond transactional bookkeeping and build broader technical accounting experience.
