Job Overview
Director of Channel Strategy responsible for developing annual and long‑range channel strategic plans for large‑format and club retailers, driving value and revenue for Keurig Dr Pepper.
Position LocationFrisco, TX (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote).
Reports ToSenior Director, Channel Strategy.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with NRS, Shopper Insights, Category Commercialization, RGM teams, and RTM representatives to develop and implement innovative, occasion‑based price package plans and growth initiatives.
- Lead development, implementation, and achievement of annual business plans within assigned channel.
- Manage communication and coordination of channel strategic plans via playbooks; provide updates to senior management.
- Collaborate with NRS, RGM, and Category Commercialization to create channel‑specific package and innovation strategies addressing unmet consumer needs and driving price realization.
- Ensure channel‑specific priority packages and innovations are executed to plan.
- Work closely with Omni Marketing to design marketing communications and merchandising solutions that drive increased consumer purchases and customer revenues.
- Analyze channel plan performance, provide corrective recommendations, and highlight performance versus objectives.
- Serve as subject matter expert for the channel at internal and external meetings.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with senior stakeholders across routes to align decision making.
- Gather and share data from internal and external sources to demonstrate knowledge of customer, channel, and product categories.
- Provide direction, coaching, and development of direct reports (Managers, Channel Strategy).
- BS/BA degree and 8+ years of experience in channel strategy, commercial planning, NRS or related function; MBA preferred.
- Experience in CPG, Beverage, Retail or related industries strongly preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience applying corporate strategy and business development, with financial modelling, strategic problem solving, and business plan development.
- Leadership skills with ability to influence at senior leadership levels.
- Outstanding collaboration skills across business lines.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities using customer and shopper data.
- Strong change‑management skills and proven track record of embracing change.
- Demonstrated project leadership and ability to adapt quickly while managing details.
- Proven track record of coaching and developing others.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Salary range: $155,000 – $220,000.
