Operations Management
As Quick Books Capital rapidly scales—expanding lending products, debt sales, third-party agency networks, and regulatory requirements, we are seeking a Manager of Post-Charge-Off Operations to overhaul and own our post-charge-off ecosystem end to end. In this role, you will lead the transformation of our post-charge-off lifecycle, driving operations across agency management, debt sales, servicing policies, workflow automation, and inventory controls with high autonomy and accountability.
Responsibilities- Lead the Transformation Agenda:
Own a rolling roadmap for post-charge-off (CO) operations, replacing manual or tribal-knowledge processes with systematized tooling, automation, and documentation. - Third-Party Agency Management:
Manage end-to-end agency performance measurement (scorecards, cohort/MOB liquidation analysis, EOM reporting), agency tiering strategy, placement logic, and vendor governance. - Debt Sale Program:
Drive the debt sale strategy, including eligible inventory, timing, cadence, marketplace partnerships (e.g., NLEX), and sale allocation logic across products. - Policy, Compliance & Risk:
Maintain collections and servicing policy documentation, serve as the primary point of contact for third-party risk management reviews, and build vendor-agnostic remediation frameworks. - Inventory & Workflow Management:
Own the CO inventory lifecycle (placement, holds, aging, status) and close capability gaps in core systems like Loan Pro. - New Product Launches:
Build post-CO playbooks ahead of new product launches (e.g., RBF, IBCC) to ensure operations are never a bottleneck. - Analytics, Forecasting & Executive Communication:
Deliver recovery forecasting, root-cause analysis, and dollar-quantified, defensible recommendations to leadership.
- Experience:
5–8+ years in collections/recovery operations, third-party vendor management, or credit risk operations, with direct operational ownership. - Track Record:
Demonstrated experience building or overhauling a process, program, or function (this is a builder/operator role, not a caretaker role). - Technical
Skills:
Working SQL proficiency (or equivalent hands-on data fluency) to independently validate findings. - Vendor Management:
Experience managing external vendor relationships with performance- or commission-based structures. - Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored for executive audiences. - Preferred Background:
Experience with debt sale programs, third-party risk management frameworks, fintech/start-up environments, and loan servicing platforms/data environments (e.g., Loan Pro, Databricks)
