• Lead estimating efforts for industrial, manufacturing, distribution center, data center, tilt-wall, and commercial construction projects
• Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and hard bid estimates
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analyses
• Develop accurate project budgets, GMPs, and conceptual pricing models
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify scope gaps and potential risks
• Lead scope reviews and estimate presentations with internal leadership teams
• Participate in preconstruction meetings with owners, developers, architects, and consultants
• Develop value engineering solutions to improve project efficiency and competitiveness
• Analyze labor, material, and market trends impacting project costs
• Support proposal development and project pursuit efforts
• Assist in securing negotiated work through client interaction and preconstruction support
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations teams to ensure successful project handoffs
  
  Build and maintain strong subcontractor and supplier relationships throughout Texas
• Mentor junior estimators and support the growth of the estimating department
• Support business development initiatives and help position the company for future opportunities

• 7+ years of estimating experience with a Commercial General Contractor
• Industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution center, or tilt-wall construction experience
• Strong conceptual estimating and preconstruction background
• Experience developing GMPs and project budgets
• Proven ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
• Experience reviewing subcontractor proposals and performing scope leveling
