Palliative Care Physician

Job Overview/Summary

The Palliative Care Physician will provide compassionate, patient‑centered care focused on symptom management, quality of life improvement, and support for patients with serious or life‑limiting illnesses. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive palliative care services, including symptom management and pain control
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized care plans
  • Support patients and families through complex medical and emotional needs
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Primary Skills
  • Palliative care clinical expertise

Secondary Skills (Good To Have)
  • Experience working in hospital, hospice, or outpatient settings

Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Palliative Care, required
  • Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or possession of an active Texas medical license in good standing
  • Candidates with prior experience as well as new residents or fellows are welcome to apply
