Department Summary

The Office of Admissions is a vital contributor to the enrollment success at the University of North Texas through student outreach, recruitment endeavors, and a commitment to providing personalized assistance to students throughout the college application and admissions process.

Position Overview

The Office of Admissions, at the University of North Texas, is seeking to hire an Admissions Recruiter to assist in recruiting and admissions functions, under the direction of the Associate Director, Admissions Recruitment & Outreach.

This position will operate at the University of North Texas at Frisco campus.

This position is responsible for participation in all aspects of the outreach of high school and college students. This position will provide expertise to implement, develop, and evaluate new student enrollment initiatives for assigned student groups, developing recruitment strategies, assisting the department with strategic implementation of recruitment activities by identifying strong recruitment approaches and developing and executing new outreach programs. Work involves, but is not limited to;

local travel, counseling and guidance of applicants for admissions, and rendering of directional services to high school and colleges in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with the possibility of occasional overnight, in and out of state travel.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in recruiting, academic advising, counseling, student services, customer service or related experience or can substitute education for experience.
