Campus Principal

Increase parent and family involvement in the school by establishing effective communication between home and school. Improve community outreach and training opportunities to impact student performance.

Education / Certification
  • High school diploma or GED (Some college preferred)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Job Responsibilities
  • Work with teachers to plan and implement evening grade level parent involvement programs throughout the year.
  • Help facilitate the application process for supplemental services such as food stamps, housing, utility assistance, clothing, transportation, after‑school care scholarships and medical care.
  • Organize orientations for parents of new students and testing information sessions for parents.
  • Plan parenting education programs and teach classes on a variety of parenting topics.
  • Access community resources and serve as a liaison to outside agencies (Small World, Clothe a Child, Frisco Family Services, Assistance League, YMCA and other agencies).
  • Maintain a parenting education activities page on the school website and encourage parent participation in various school and community programs and services.
  • Assist counselor, nurse, and administrators by contacting parents.
  • Accompany counselor and/or teachers on home visits.
  • Support teachers and administrators by attending student conferences and ARD meetings, calling parents, and preparing written or e‑mail communications as needed.
  • Monitor and supervise individual and small groups of students.
  • Frisco ISD retains the right to adjust the responsibilities and assignments of all positions as needed to meet the needs of the District.
Mental Demands / Physical Demands / Environmental Factors

Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals. Prolonged sitting; occasional bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and twisting. Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. May work prolonged or irregular hours; occasional district‑wide travel. Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.
