Overview
We’re looking for a Professional Engineer ready to take the next step in their career by leading technical project delivery and client coordination efforts. In this role, you’ll support projects from initial concept design through construction, working closely with internal teams, sub-consultants, and clients to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.
Job SummaryProfessional Engineer with general instruction will independently perform engineering system design during all phases of multiple, simultaneous projects by performing design calculations, specifications, interpreting and preparing reports, applying techniques and procedures, preparing cost estimates, impact studies, permits and designs/deliverable drawings.
Job Responsibilities- Lead and innovate—plan and conduct independent evaluations, adapting and refining standard engineering methods to meet project-specific challenges.
- Ensure technical excellence and compliance—apply your knowledge of regulatory codes and use advanced engineering software to deliver high-quality, compliant designs.
- Drive project success—lead and contribute to engineering efforts across disciplines, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Be a problem solver—analyze complex challenges, develop creative solutions, and continue growing your technical expertise.
- Mentor and develop junior staff—share knowledge, provide guidance, and communicate ideas clearly to help develop the next generation of engineers.
- Work independently with confidence—handle assignments with minimal supervision, managing tasks from start to finish while aligning with project goals.
- Build relationships—begin developing a deeper understanding of client needs and decision-making processes, fostering connections both inside and outside the organization.
- Collaborate and coordinate—supervise or coordinate the work of other professionals supporting your projects, ensuring seamless teamwork and project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Professional Engineer License (PE)
- 4+ years’ experience
- Direct experience with Water/Wastewater treatment plants OR pipeline systems
- Experience designing pipelines from start to finish
- Experience with utility design related to Land Development and Municipal markets
- Technical experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
