Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Director of Project Development to lead water and wastewater engineering projects for municipal and industrial clients. This role combines business development
, project management
, and engineering leadership to deliver innovative solutions for treatment plants
, pumping stations
, pipelines
, and related infrastructure. This is a client facing/business development strategic role for someone with Texas water market experience with project leadership and local market relationships.
- Lead proposal development
, pricing strategies, and client negotiations for RFQs and RFPs - Oversee project planning
, design
, permitting
, and construction support - Develop procurement strategies
, project schedules
, and cost estimates - Manage client relationships and pursue repeat business opportunities
- Provide leadership and mentorship to engineering and project teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
, Environmental Engineering
, or Mechanical Engineering - 15+ years of experience in municipal water/wastewater engineering and consulting
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Proven success in project management
, proposal writing
, and public presentations - Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
