Job Description- Work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses and identify & manage regulatory compliance risks.
- Assist clients in staying compliant with new or updated financial institution regulations and implement related requirements.
- Translate regulatory requirements into actionable compliance frameworks.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all existing compliance regulations.
- Identify potential impacts of regulatory changes on audit programs.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert on regulatory and compliance topics for internal audit.
- Provide strategic business advice and assist in the implementation of new regulatory requirements.
- Manage client engagement teams, including staffing, billing/collections and client profitability.
- Network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.
- Invest in professional development through firm‑wide learning programs.
- Support growth and development of team members via the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
- Maintain work‑life balance through social activities and team outings.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- 2–4+ years experience in regulatory compliance.
- CPA or CRCM designation preferred; willingness to obtain CRCM acceptable.
- Experience with FDIC, OCC, CFPB, NCUA or state regulations.
- Client‑serving experience in a consulting firm or financial institution.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time‑management skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and client responsiveness.
- Ability to travel as required.
Compensation range: $80,990 to $153,550. Actual compensation influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
