The Private Equity Fund Services (PEFS) Director is responsible for the oversight, management, and strategic development of day-to-day fund administration operations. This position is also responsible for the development of team members and will serve in a leadership role within the department. The PEFS Director is also responsible for overseeing certain private equity client deliverables, which includes quarterly financial reporting, capital call and distribution calculations and the related notices, carried interest calculations, management fees and other complex fee calculations, the annual audit and tax process, treasury requests, as well as ad-hoc investor relations requests.
Additionally, the PEFS Director will be responsible for managing client relationships, serving as an escalation point for both internal employees and clients. This position requires regular interaction with clients, team members, and internal management. It requires mastery of complex private equity fund accounting skills, oversight of the complete financial reporting and capital call/distribution process, direct management and oversight of the team's managers, seniors, and associates, and serves as a resource to other members of the team, providing guidance, coaching, training, and additional support as needed.
Strong soft skills are required, as the PEFS Director will pivot from managing team members, to interfacing with clients, to troubleshooting technical accounting issues. The PEFS Director will also assist with business development objectives and help the department win new business through participation on prospect pitch calls and develop new business through “land and expand” opportunities by providing excellent client service with existing clientele.

- Oversee and review the preparation and distribution of quarterly financial statements to investors of the Fund.
- Oversee and review the preparation and distribution of quarterly investor capital statements to investors of the Fund.
- Oversee and review the preparation of schedules to support the general ledger balances reported in the quarterly financial statements.
- Oversee and review the preparation and distribution of capital call notices to investors, notifying them when contributions are due and ensuring the capital call adheres to the Fund's Operating Agreement.
- Oversee and review the preparation and distribution notices to investors, notifying them when proceeds will be received and ensuring the calculation adheres to the distribution provisions of the Fund's Operating Agreement.
- Understand and interpret terms set forth within a Fund's Operating Agreement.
