Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services and help patients achieve their functional goals.

Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities as appropriate
  • Monitor patient performance and report progress or changes to the Physical Therapist
  • Instruct patients in safe and effective home exercise programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
  • Educate patients and families about therapy goals, safety, and treatment expectations
  • Assist in maintaining clinic organization and ensuring a safe, clean environment
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to coordinated patient care
  • Support quality improvement and continuing education initiatives
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Texas PTA license
  • Valid BLS/CPR certification
  • Solid understanding of physical therapy principles and modalities
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient engagement skills
  • Excellent documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth
  • Experience or interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, or outpatient care preferred
