Requirements
  • Must be bilingual English/Spanish
  • Current Texas SLPA licensure
  • 6 months of full‑time clinical experience
  • Pediatrics experience
  • Home Health experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
  • Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patient’s home or daytime facility
  • Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
  • Plans for care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and joining professional organizations
  • Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for new requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
