• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, competence in general radiographic procedures.
• Independent technical judgment and initiative in applying isotopes.
• Performs tests in both in‑patients and out‑patients.
• Uses Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in the Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates industry knowledge in radiation safety.

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT).
• MRT State of Texas.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current AHA or ARC BLS provider.
• If a current employee, participation in cross‑training program with completion of required alternate modality certification within 6 months.
