Overview

Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, located in Frisco, TX, offers 127,000 square feet of event space and multiple dining outlets. The Banquet Set Up Manager will ensure the efficiency and quality of club & entertainment district kitchen and food production outlets.

Responsibilities
  • Direct, organize, and train housemen supervisors and house persons to ensure set standards.
  • Supervise the daily operations of banquet house persons.
  • Inspect pre-event rooms to confirm client needs and hotel standards are met.
  • Handle payroll, recognition, discipline, labor management, and overall department management.
  • Respond to last-minute requests and communicate changes to departments.
  • Follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and maintain contact with in-house planners for changes.
  • Assign duties using daily worksheet and monitor compliance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of storage and back-of-house areas.
  • Ensure proper use and storage of convention equipment and schedule preventive maintenance.
  • Uphold hotel policies, safety trainings, and team adherence.
  • Provide training with Director of Banquets and monitor housemen performance.
  • Set unused rooms to departmental standards.
  • Attend department meetings and required trainings.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years banquet leadership experience in a high-volume, upscale hotel.
  • Exceptional guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Flexible schedule; availability for weekends, holidays, evenings.
  • Strong attention to detail, quick decision making, and good judgment.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain a friendly demeanor in fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented and positive attitude.
  • Physical requirements:

    walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, use of hands/arms, pushing, pulling, bending, lifting significant weight.
