Job Summary

The Manager, Employee Relations & Investigations will thoroughly and expeditiously investigate Team Member concerns in a fair, unbiased, and consistent manner. The ideal candidate will have significant experience operating in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment and possess a strong investigative skill set working in Union and Non‑Union organizations. We’re seeking innovative solution seekers, natural collaborators, Team Member advocates, and culture architects to enable our Teams, partners, and business to do and be their best.

Position can be based out of Orlando, FL or Frisco, TX offices. Experienced in high volume employee relations setting required.

Major Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth interviews and investigations of highly sensitive and complex allegations, gather and evaluate information, prepare reports, determine facts, and assist in disciplinary documentation.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes for investigations, track and document Employee Relations claims and cases, and maintain accurate records in a centralized system.
  • Analyze aggregate casework data to identify issue trends and proactively mitigate risks.
  • Partner in analyzing and revising Team Member programs, policies, and practices to sustain a positive work environment.
  • Provide counseling, advice, and guidance to Management and HR business partners on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, and training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field required.
Experience
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws and governmental compliance requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible HR generalist experience, including employee relations processes.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience handling complicated investigations and collaborating with legal counsel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to earn trust and work on wide range of issues.
  • Strong prioritization, time management, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and handle multiple projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Reasonable accommodation available for individuals with disabilities.

Additional Information
  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or related field.
  • Ability to drive HR processes and deliver high‑quality services in fast‑paced, high‑change environment.
  • Strong facilitation, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Flexibility to shift focus between big picture and execution.
  • Experience with a case database (Oracle, CaseIQ, iSight).
  • Experience in union/represented environments or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Ability to develop integrated solutions from inception to post‑delivery assessment.
  • Occasional flexibility with working weekends/holidays.
