Server Monitoring L1 Analyst

* Primary Responsibilities:

** Monitor server infrastructure and respond to alerts promptly. Execute routine checks to ensure server health and performance. Escalate incidents to appropriate teams or individuals as per defined protocols. Collaborate with Level 2 support for issue resolution and documentation. Maintain accurate records of server-related activities and incidents. Assist in implementing and maintaining monitoring tools and systems. Provide basic technical support to end-users and internal teams.

Qualifications:

**** Technical

Skills:

*** Basic understanding of server operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
* Familiarity with server monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix).
* Basic scripting or automation skills (Shell, Power Shell, etc.).
* Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting.
** Communication

Skills:

*** Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communication skills to interact with team members.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
** Problem Solving:
*** Ability to analyze and resolve basic network problems independently.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.

* Qualifications:

**** Educational Background:
*** Minimum HSC pass.

- CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+)
* Microsoft Certified:
Azure Fundamentals
* Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC-1)

* Experience:

*** Minimum 1 year experience in server monitoring or similar role
*
* Soft Skills:

*** Strong work ethics and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Good email communication skills.
* Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
