Must have skills/experience: Client would require a MDM Release & Build Engineer with experience in deploying STIBO application for implementation and maintenance. The focus would be to have the ability to use industry standard Release tools and techniques. Ability to liaison with technical, functional, project stakeholders worked with Change Control Board, adhered to CCB's procedures and documentation prior to deployment. Ability to manage and track Upgrades, impact of upgrades on the deployments etc.

Critical

Skills:

8+ years' experience as Build and Release Engineer.

Setting up and maintaining an ongoing continuous build/integration infrastructure.

Creating and sustaining a fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments.

Writing build and deployment scripts.

Own the release cycle for running builds into the platform.

Ensure that defects and bugs are communicated and mitigated while partnering with the data engineer.

Communicate impact and resolution of defects and bugs.

Identify patterns for solution and code reusability and scaling.

Identify data quality measures to improve data product stability.

Training and supporting developers on processes for source control, through build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, and deployment.

Enabling successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production.

Agile Software Development and Management methods.

Knowledge of source code control management systems and configuration management (i.e., Git, Hudson, Subversion, Artifactory etc.) and code branching/merging strategies.

Documenting and coordinating with developers and leadership on releases.

Requirements:

Experience and hands-on knowledge of SVN (Subversion), Jenkins, Sonar, JIRA, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, Bitbucket etc.

Experience in Continuous Integration and Delivery Rollouts throughout SDLC environment including production rollouts and post support and transitions to support team.

Experience with Application Build, Deployment and Release Management.

Experience owning the software release cycle and mitigating technical and business conflicts.

Experience collaborating with and communicating across a broader working team with varying levels of technology experience.

Experience with software and data engineering development life cycles.

Experience with Azure Dev Ops or a similar Agile Lifecycle Management tool.

Strong understanding of Data Governance, Security, and Compliance requirements.

Experience with automated build and deployment systems and usages of tools is a Plus.
