Automation SME Architect

Area of infrastructure automation and orchestration and own all technical aspects of platform configuration and its automation. Perform hands-on architecture, design and development of multi-tenant provisioning systems.
Responsibilities:

• Service owner for configuration management, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and version control. Provide continuous support for ongoing application availability. Drive consistent operational practices.
• Design, build and deploy automation tools to provision environments and applications. Automate the deployment of technology stacks. Design and build orchestrations for auto-remediating infrastructure.
• Create infrastructure as code frameworks and templates leading to spin up and turning down virtual environments / Cloud platforms.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a technical discipline (e.g. engineering) preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in automating and orchestrating environments on Cloud.
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Service environments (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure).
• Strong application development and infrastructure background with proven experience scripting and coding in a programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Power Shell).
• Technical subject matter expert in infrastructure as code, configuration management, automation, orchestration, continuous integration and deployment.
• Experience building and automating cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure preferred.
• Experience with AWS and Azure IaC Dev Ops deployment models and methodologies.
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code Orchestration Tools (e.g. Azure Dev Ops, Terraform, Cloud Formation, Bicep/ARM).
• Experience with Azure/AWS IaaS/PaaS services including Virtual Networks, Networking peering/routing, firewalls, NSGs/Security groups, Storage account / S3, VMs/EC2 instances, Elastic Bean Stalk / App Services and databases.
• Experience with Identity and access management methodologies using Azure Active Directory, OAuth/OpenID, NTLM/Kerberos-based authentication and SAML.
• Strong understanding of architecture and design concepts and ability to lead and present ideas.
• Experience and strong understanding security principals.
• Expertise securing resources in cloud using private endpoints, Defender for Cloud, log management, Sentinel, web firewalls etc.
