Build the cloud platform that’s transforming electronics design. These are some of the R&D Software Engineering contributions you might make to Altium 365 :

• Building new cloud‑native applications and scalable infrastructure
• Utilizing AI and ML to power advanced search capabilities
• Large‑scale data processing; data modeling; holistic, intent‑based API design
• Stateful and stateless servers, relational databases, ORM frameworks

Altium offers the opportunity to conceive and build new product features for electronics engineers, and add your own ideas to the world’s most collaborative and efficient electronics design platform.

• Build and continuously optimize CI / CD process and streamline automation effort for server provisioning and applications deployment
• Build a resilient and scalable service infrastructure to accommodate regions
• Deploy, monitor and scale application services
• Have clear and solid relationship with software development departments
• Plan and document work and projects
• Mentor team members and drive knowledge sharing
• Participate in project management and on‑going strategic planning
• Work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to analyze and troubleshoot complex production issues
• Participate in an on‑call rotating schedule

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Significant cloud ops experience with AWS
• Understanding of securing cloud data and industry standards
• Passion to not only build great cloud infrastructure but a great product
• 6+ years of experience in Dev Ops / SRE environment
• 6+ years of experience of working with Linux and Windows systems
• Strong understanding and knowledge of cloud infrastructure components such as AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Storage, Route
  53 and network appliances
• Hands‑on experience architecting and securing cloud networking such as VPC peering, subnet, security groups
• Working knowledge of Jenkins, Git Lab or alternative CI systems
• Understanding of Active Directory, DNS and Domain
• Familiarity with microservice architecture, Docker, Kubernetes

The salary range for this role is { $160,000 - $210,000 }. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
