- IMS System programming(Installation , diagnosis, upgrades, performance measurement, tuning, etc)
- Excellent IMS troubleshooting skills
- SMPE(Subsystem and program product) experience.
- Experience in SYSGEN process.
- Experience in DBDGEN, PSBGEN and ACBGEN.
- Analyze and maintain IMS database environment parameters
- Design and management of all IMS buffer pools
- DR Exercise(Planning, Testing, and execution) for the IMS installation
- Log dataset management for IMS.
- DBRC Management for IMS.
- Managing IMS Transaction manager resources in a IMSplex env.
- Monitoring and troubleshoot IMS address space for any potential issues.
- BMC IMS tools.
