Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – PRN​/Nights

Position Overview: A registered nurse provides professional nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting hospital standards to foster a cooperative work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
• Assuming responsibility for patient and family education related to care.
• Maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Ensuring accurate, timely documentation of patient information.
• Administering medications and IV therapies safely and accurately.
• Taking initiative for professional growth and development.
• Utilizing the nursing process to ensure quality care throughout the patient episode.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Valid nursing license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
