Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Solution Sales Manager to join our North American Food Solutions Sales team. The role is based in the Midwest or Great Lakes Region and focuses on selling packing and slicing equipment to the food industry. The Manager will manage and nurture client relationships, ensure satisfaction, and drive growth through upselling and cross‑selling opportunities. They will achieve order intake targets, maintain high customer satisfaction, and collaborate with service sales and strategic account managers.

Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned accounts and serve as their primary point of contact, understanding their needs and ensuring long‑lasting relationships.
  • Engage with clients regularly to provide updates, gather feedback, and address inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with the territory manager to develop and execute sales plans for the region/territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region/territory, expanding the customer base and market share.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts, ensuring they are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders to promote our products and services.
  • Operate in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Negotiate purchase agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Demonstrate self‑motivation and collaborate in a matrix environment to achieve results.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry developments and regulatory requirements affecting our business.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2-10+ years of relevant experience in food packaging and vertical packaging equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously to achieve order intake targets.
  • Proven track record of managing a sales territory and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to visit customers, attend trade shows, and industry functions.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $ – $ per year.
