Night Security & Guest Services Attendant; Unarmed

Job Description

We’re seeking an unarmed night security attendant to secure the property and serve as the after-hours point of contact for arriving guests. This role combines security patrol with guest check-in and customer service.

Weekend nights, including holidays and peak event weekends, are higher-volume.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Observe, document, and report suspicious or criminal activity; ask violators to leave and contact law enforcement when needed
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
• Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Guest Services:

• Check in late-arriving guests (cabins, RV sites, glamping, Airbnb) using our reservation system and check-in process
• Verify guest identity and reservation details, and confirm guest counts and vehicles
• Direct guests to their site or unit, and explain property rules, quiet hours, and amenities
• Hand off keys or codes, and confirm units are ready before arrival
• Answer guest calls and texts during the shift, and escalate issues to management
• Log all check-ins, incidents, and guest issues in the shift report
• Keep a friendly, professional demeanor with guests at all times, including when enforcing rules

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong attention to detail
• Customer service, hospitality, or front-desk experience preferred
• Comfortable using a tablet or phone-based reservation and check-in software
• Clear communication and a calm, professional manner with guests

Hours:

• Thurs: 8pm - 12am
• Friday: 8pm - 8am
• Saturday: 8pm - 8am
• Sunday: 8pm - 8am

Pay will depend on experience
