Compensation: $21–$26 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly performance bonuses

Gaines Investment Trust is looking for hands-on, dependable individuals interested in Maintenance Technician opportunities at Silverado Apartments.

New to property management? That's okay.Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, construction, facilities maintenance, or other skilled trades can provide a great foundation for apartment maintenance.

• Complete resident service requests and troubleshoot maintenance issues

• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other apartment systems

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs

• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents

• Inspect apartments, common areas, and building systems

• Identify and address maintenance and safety concerns

• Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas

• Provide professional and courteous service to residents

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining equipment or property

• Dependable work ethic and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Professional communication and customer service skills

• Previous apartment maintenance or skilled trade experience is a plus

• Valid driver's license

This position works a five-day schedule and participates in a rotational on-call schedule for after-hours emergency maintenance needs.
