We are the eCommerce team of McAfee building next-generation solutions to help acquire new customers and retain existing customers. This position is for a Senior Software Development Engineer who will play a critical role in building highly scalable and performing systems that serve a large user base.

This is a Hybrid position located in Frisco, TX. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis, typically 2x per week. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to this location and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

• Architect, develop, test, and deploy high-performance, scalable, and responsive products.
• Support existing backend and platform workloads, including web applications, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions (AWS preferred).
• Collaborate with global teams to enhance McAfee Consumer Products.
• Lead or participate in the exploration, prototyping, and integration of AI/ML features.
• Champion the use of AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to improve development velocity, code quality, and team productivity.
• Stay current with AI trends and technologies, identifying opportunities to apply AI for improved customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Conduct deep data analysis on big data systems, leveraging AI/ML tools where appropriate.
• Ensure product releases meet high quality standards through rigorous testing.
• Continuously explore, adopt, and demonstrate new tools and technologies that can enhance productivity, quality, monitoring, and delivery speed.
• Proactively propose and implement improvements to engineering processes, leveraging AI and automation to optimize workflows and outcomes.
• Follow Agile Scrum methodologies and actively contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

• Possess 8+ years of hands‑on experience in application development.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and backend services (Node.js, SQL Server, Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL).
• Experience designing and implementing cloud solutions (AWS preferred) and containerization.
• Expertise in using AI powered developer tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
• Familiarity with front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, React).
• Good to have exposure in GoLang development.
• Experience building web platforms, RESTful APIs, integrating payment systems, optimizing applications, and implementing A/B testing.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, adopt, and showcase new tools and technologies to the team.
• Proven track record of proposing and implementing process improvements that increase productivity, quality, and delivery speed.
• Experience with data pipelines, feature engineering, or deploying ML models in production is a plus.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new AI technologies as business needs evolve.
• Strong sense of ownership, collaborative and team‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to develop applications with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is a plus.
