Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Health Visitor or are you just about to qualify and are looking for a fresh or new opportunity? Our 0-19 Starting Well Service has Health Visiting hours available within the service.
You would become part our integrated team delivering the key elements of the Healthy Child Programme to the Cheshire West and Chester 0‑19 year old population and their families.
You should have an excellent knowledge of the Healthy Child Programme and demonstrate a commitment to multi‑agency/ collaborative and integrated team working. Safeguarding and case management are essential elements of this role and comprehensive training and support will be provided.

You will also be involved in a range of public health activities within a geographical area, to include individuals, groups and communities. As a key professional in the protection of children, you will be required to work collaboratively with other agencies to meet their needs.

Person Specification Qualifications- RGN or equivalent
- SCPHN
- NMC Registration
- Knowledge of Public Health in relation to the wellbeing of Children and families.
- Exceptional knowledge in the Safeguarding Agenda and Child Protection.
- Managing a safeguarding caseload
- Working as a Health Visitor to deliver the Healthy Child Programme.
- Health Visiting experience
- Collaborative working as part of a multi‑disciplinary/integrated team
- Ability to manage own caseload
- Experience of assessing, planning and implementing care plans with children and families
- Experience in the protection of children, and the management of cases in relation to adult and child safeguarding.
- Sound skills in the use of clinical systems and Microsoft Office
