Sheet Metal Worker

Our client, based in the Frodsham area, are looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker, who can also TIG Weld to a high standard.

The job is permanent from day 1, is on days working Monday to Thursday (7am - 5pm) and will pay £17.56/hr PAYE.

Someone from a sheet metal background would be preferred, who is used to carrying out TIG welding & able to read engineering drawings. The sheet metal duties are fairly basic in terms of rolling & forming but you must be able to work to engineering drawings.

This role involves working with various materials, primarily stainless steel, to assemble components and create high-quality products.

Duties:

* Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts according to specifications.

* Read and understand engineering drawings in order to carry out fabrication.

* Work with variety of metals to produce high quality work.

* Working in a small team but also able to manage their own small welding jobs.

Requirements:

* Skilled/Qualified in welding (mainly TIG) and able to read drawings

* Experience working with sheet metal processes, rolling, forming etc.

* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

* Ability to work independently while also being a cooperative team player.
