Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor with Autism Experience Hanson Recruitment is working with a large number of schools across the South-West which require teachers , teaching assistants, and cover supervisors. We are currently recruiting for a cover supervisor with experience in autism to work with us across schools in Frome. This role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, and ensuring students remain engaged in learning while maintaining a calm, structured, and supportive environment.

Pay Rate: £100 - £130 per day (subject to experience and qualifications). This role is during school hours.

Responsibilities include:

To plan and deliver learning activities to children and young people, differentiating, modifying and using specialist activities and approaches according to children or young people's responses/needs Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Deliver pre-set work, ensuring students stay on task and complete assigned activities. Provide targeted support for students with autism, adapting approaches as needed. T o support students with ASD to fulfil their academic potential
